First Dr. Appointment


Today was the first dr appointment/ultrasound.  Nothing better than seeing your baby and hearing a heart beat for the first time.  I guess Mark won't be saying, "if there is a baby in you..." anymore.  I have the pictures to prove it.  I think he is finally convinced.  Baby's heartrate was 162 bpm.  Dr.  says everything looks good with baby and mom so that is good news.

Mark has decided I am having a Mexican baby.  I want mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner these days.  I was relieved to find out today that I hadn't gained any weight yet despite all that I am eating.  Eating every 2 hours to try to keep the nausea at bay.  Seems to work, but there are probably better food choices I could be making...maybe in the second trimester I will look into that.
